St Edmund’s is a friendly and welcoming church. A number of gay, lesbian and bisexual people worship here, playing a full part in church life, including central leadership. Gay and lesbian members have a confidential dedicated space within our web site, including an on-line discussion forum. St Edmund’s will bless realationships of those within the congregation, following Civil Partnership ceremonies. Worship is mostly eucharistic. Different Christian traditions contribute to a variety of worship styles. The congregation is open to renewal and to insight from across a broad range of Christian experience.
