A number of LGBT people worship here, playing a full part in church life, including central leadership. St Edmund’s is made up of people from all walks of life and from different backgrounds and cultures. Those who choose to be a part of St Edmund’s community or who come along every so often do not receive the religious hard sell, instead we offer a safe and gentle space for everyone to explore what it means to be religious in today’s world and to be part of a caring community. Worship is mostly Eucharistic although different Christian traditions contribute to a variety of worship styles. Take a look at our website to find out more.

I had pleasant surprise finding this gay friendly church. I am catholic, and feel like an outsider. How can I become part of your church. Are you c of e.
